Publication Process:

1. Submission: Manuscripts should be submitted through our online submission platform. Authors must adhere to our formatting and submission guidelines. Manuscripts must be written in clear, correct English. Minor editing is included in the process, but substantial language revisions may require additional paid services.

2. Peer-Review and Editorial Evaluation:

   • Technical Pre-Check: Ensures basic compliance with formatting and submission requirements.
   • Editorial Pre-Check: Assesses the manuscript’s suitability for peer review.
   • Peer Review: At least two independent experts review each manuscript. Authors can track the progress via the Susy platform.
   • Final Decision: The Academic Editor makes the final decision, which may result in acceptance, minor revisions, or major revisions.

Editorial Decisions and Revision Categories:

• Accept in Present Form: The manuscript is accepted without any changes.
• Accept after Minor Revisions: Minor changes are required and must be resubmitted within 5 days.
• Reconsider after Major Revisions: Significant revisions are necessary, with a maximum of two rounds of review.
• Reject and Encourage Resubmission: The manuscript is rejected but can be resubmitted after substantial revisions.
• Reject: The manuscript is rejected, and no resubmission is encouraged.

English Editing Services: We encourage authors to submit manuscripts written in clear and correct English. Minor language editing is included in the publication process; however, for substantial revisions, authors can opt for professional editing services, available for an additional fee.

Funding, Discounts, and APC/BPC Support: SPJ Publication does not charge Article Processing Charges (APC). However, authors may inquire about discounts or institutional support for book processing charges (BPC) for any related publications.

Digital Preservation and Archiving: All published content is archived in reputable digital preservation systems like the CLOCKSS Archive to ensure long-term access. Authors may request deletion of files for rejected manuscripts from our system.
